Katapang, Amanda

Amanda Katapang (any pronouns) is a Staff Attorney with the Free to Be Youth Project at the Urban Justice Center. At CUNY Law, she specialized in immigration law, labor and employment law, and national security law. Her professional mission is to address the current heightening oppression and exploitation of vulnerable and marginalized communities. She is guided by the principles and practices of community-based lawyers and movement lawyering. In her free time, Amanda is an educator-organizer, a visual artist, and a poet.
